Statistics collected from medical records help the care providers analyze the patient’s condition and what they are suffering from and their treatment procedures. It also enables the care providers to use the inpatients' medical records to have detailed information about the admitted patient in the hospital ward. Statistical knowledge will also enable the care providers to collect unrecorded information and add it to the patient medical record for future reference (Beattie, Murphy, Atherton, & Lauder, 2015).
