The article makes assertions and inferences that are not sufficiently substantiated by research. As such, most of the claims which are made in the qualitative study cannot be ascertained. However, there are some strengths of the study which make the report plausible. The significant strength of the evaluation is in the use of participatory methods in making the inferences of the study. The study is based on primary experimental data that is verifiable. The use of Stand-up Help out (SUHO) technique is compared with the national strategies of addressing the challenges that the African American youths face ( Bulanda and McCrea, 2013) . However, the qualitative evaluation program has some limitations in the methodology, analysis, and conclusions that affect the integrity of the result. In the methodology section, the sample size of the participants was limited. Only 32 African American respondents took part in the study. A sample size of 32 is not sufficient for the analysis. In the analysis section, the views of the minorities were neglected. The study did not also make a paired comparison of the African American youth from poor backgrounds with the whites’ counterparts. The disadvantage of the conclusion is that it does not take into account other measures of improving the impaired relationship capabilities of the youths. The design can be strengthened if the sample size is improved to increase the reliability of the collected data. The study should also make a comparison of multiple alternatives for solving the problems and then recommend the best option from the survey.
Qualitative research can be used at my place of work to determine the level of job enlargement and job satisfaction for the employees. Stratified sampling technique is used to determine the respondents of the study ( Bulanda and McCrea, 2013) . The employees need to be sampled from all departments to take part in the study. The management, subordinate, and middle-level employees should also be included in the study to increase the reliability of the result and also reduce bias. The thematic analysis should then be used to analyze the collected data.
