Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the spheres of the corporate world proven to have substantial opportunities in the investment market. According to Tinholt (2017), modern governing institutions have found artificial intelligence important in the various spheres of the world economy. The government of the future has targeted to reap bigger in the AI sector while focusing on serving the public better through the use of various services available. The government of the future has also targeted the use of cognitive technologies to come up with smarter public sector services (Eggers, Viechnicki & Schatsky, 2017). The future of AI for the government may come with other perquisites such as the reduction in the number of hours worked by the government employees by enhancing the smart cognitive development (Eggers & Viechnicki, 2017). According to Gross (2017), however, various questions have arisen on how ready the government is ready for the disruptive force of AI in the public sector, such as in logistics for the acquisition and fulfillment of the logistics of its future.

According to Kuprenko (2019), the use of artificial intelligence in the logistics sectors of modern businesses might be the next big thing for the business markets. Artificial intelligence has taken over the supply chain activities of the twenty-first-century business ventures by reducing the problems associated with the acquisition and fulfillment of the orders in the logistics division of the ventures (Kuprenko, 2019). The future of AI in logistics guarantees the reduction in the time taken to carry out the various tasks such as the movement of raw materials from the suppliers and the finished goods from the companies to the target customers. Extensive research has indicated that the use of AI in the logistics markets is expected to generate between $ 1.3 trillion to $ 2 trillion in revenues, which is lucrative for the investors and entrepreneurs eyeing the AI industry (Kuprenko, 2019). The use of automated vehicles in the acquisition and fulfillment of products and services has promised to reduce the time and costs used in the logistics of the commercial industries, and reduce the accident rates that take place within the premises (Kuprenko, 2019).
