I am aware that one would require proper counseling and guidance as relates to Logistics, in order to become a competent logistician even after having graduated. As such, I am looking forward to meeting a mentor with at least five years of experience in Logistics, as well as in career development, who will be in a position to offer his best to nurture my skills for the future. In addition to the already mentioned requirements, the person must be willing to complement my style, be a lateral thinker, be honest, dedicated, willing to learn, empathetic, and be a holder of a Master’s degree and above. A mentor is akin to a mountaineering guide. It is a fact that they have not at all times gone through similar pathways that I have taken. As such, the mentor should not expect to spoon-feed me with answers even if he has. Instead, I expect the mentor to help me prevail over my problems devoid of taking the wheels directly. Therefore, listening and communication skills are critical during the mentoring process. I also expect a mentor who will consider sharing broad perceptions to help me learn new things in my career.
Dear Mr. Eric Dill,
My name is Tom Carr and I am a third year student at Greenfield University pursuing a degree course in Business Management, with a focus on Logistics. I got your details from the database for career mentors. I am well convinced that you have the requirements that any mentee would have been looking for in a mentor, and this is most especially given that you have been a mentor for over eight years, working with various organizations and learning institutions. I have lots of interest to further my learning as pertains to logistics, which happens to be your major too. I was hoping that you would be willing to share your experience with me during and after your schooling period. I am willing to connect in person, by email (email address), or by phone (phone number), whichever communication channel that you will find most convenient. I’m optimistic I will hear from you soon.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Thank you in advance.
Yours Sincerely,
(Signature)
Tom Carr.
