NASN is expected ensure that an ethical working environment has been provided for the students and the community, promoting a research agenda which will promote research, supporting the school nurses in their duties and forming relationships with other organizations which have the same mission and values such as NASN and in that way, they can work together to create advocacy and prevention of asthma.
If there were unethical actions taking place at NASN, it would affect the operations of the operations. The community and schools would also not be able to rely on the activities due to the unethical cases. The issues can also be solved using legal methods. The nurses and the organizations should be aware that acting unethically would result in a court case which has other implications. To the nurses, they may lose their working license, meaning that they would not be able to practice anymore (Selekman, 2013). The organization would lose its reputations, and the schools and the society would not depend on them. Therefore, the management should ensure that the ethical code political is held.
