AT & T, a telecommunication company based in Dallas, Texas is my favorite company. I think they might produce phones with improved network coverage and release them to the market in the near future. This is in an attempt to fill an existing gap in the market for gadgets that facilitate efficient communication and access to the internet. As youths prefer to change with technology, they will always choose devices that enhance their user experience. My research will incorporate a sample of the youthful populations between the ages twenty to thirty-five years. Questionnaires and surveys will be employed to help in data collection and will be administered randomly to the population of interest. They would seek to investigate the sample population’s preferences on the type of model, size, color, network coverage and storage features of desirable phones.
A descriptive research design will be employed since it will offer detailed information about consumer preferences which may be converted to numerical figures easily. Data will be gathered after questionnaires and surveys are administered in person to the target population as this method is more reliable. The responses will then be transferred to an excel sheet to facilitate easier analysis as similar features will be grouped together. As a simple summary is needed, I would use tables to display the results of the data gathered. This would distinguish highly ranked features from those that are ignored. As a result, these observations will outline features that should be given considerable attention since they determine consumer preferences.
