The modern nursing continues to recognize the value of incorporating simulation education in the nursing practice. The use of simulation in nursing has been applied to learn how to examine, bather, turn, inject, and dress patients’ wounds. Simulation, virtual worlds, and games have wide-ranging impacts on nursing education and come with varied advantages and disadvantages. This paper provides different aspects concerning the application of simulation, virtual worlds, and games in nursing education.
Part 1
Simulation education in nursing aim is to integrate theoretical knowledge from books into practical skills. The significant impact of simulation in nursing education is its capability to provide students with the opportunity to practice their clinical and decision-making skills through various real-life situations. Examples of simulation-based practice include ambulatory care and high-fidelity simulation (Kim, Park & Shin, 2016). Virtual worlds have had a significant impact on nursing education by assisting students to become more proficient in the MRIs, X-ray analysis, and CTs analysis. Games in nursing education support experimental processes whereby students have to use their knowledge and skills to achieve specified goals.

Simulation in nursing education has its advantages and disadvantages. Some benefits of simulations include the ability to provide students with all possible clinical sites, emergencies, and situations. They also help students correct their bad judgment calls, mistakes, and are easy for oversight, enhancing the growth of education and experience of the students. However, simulations have disadvantages including lack of reality, which does not help students to prepare enough top face real human life situations. Simulations are also pricey and expensive to maintain. Virtual worlds based education has advantages such as the creation of outstanding visualization that are not possible in the traditional classroom. Another advantage of virtual worlds is that they eliminate the language barrier that might exist in the learning process. Several disadvantages of virtual worlds that exist include lack of flexibility since most virtual software are programmed to work in the same manner. There is also a concern that using virtual worlds might need to addiction and deterioration of human communication and interpersonal connections. Gaming in nursing education also holds its advantages and disadvantages. Some of the benefits of games include fostering students’ critical thinking, increasing their motivation, and encouraging them to deeply engage in the learning process (Murad, 2017). However, the gaming is associated with a decrease student attention span and the high costs of gaming systems.
Part 2
Educational Scenario
The educational scenario involves the use of clinical virtual simulation-based learning approach. The audiences are the nursing students whereby critical components of the educational situation that is measured include knowledge retention and the learning satisfaction among the students. The group that engaged in the clinical virtual simulator was found to have significant improvement in knowledge retention and learning satisfactory compared to their counterparts. Therefore, the use of virtual simulator was found to have a substantial increase in the nursing learning process.

The volunteer students went through a first knowledge and reasoning test and allocated into two groups. Both groups conducted a laboratory class where knowledge about the respiratory process was delivered. The clinical virtual simulation scenario was then used to provide the same knowledge on one group. The performance score of both groups was then evaluated based on the physical examination process, diagnosis, and therapeutic activities of the students.

Conclusion
The scenario imply that the use of simulators, virtual worlds, and games have a significant impact on nursing education. Despite the methods having several disadvantages, it is clear that the advantages provided have a considerable weight. Therefore, there are enough reasons why simulations, virtual worlds and games should be integrated into nursing education.
