Patient-engaged care links with better health outcomes, good care experience for the patient, and lower costs of health care. According to Greg Fisher (2008), the essential principle of business is maintaining integrity. There is personal and professional integrity, which are essential in business operations. An individual who is self integrated is consistent with their actions and views they resist evil desires and possess qualities of self-reflection and being whole. Nurses who practice with moral integrity have a strong sense of themselves by acting in ways that are consistent with what they fully understand is the right thing to do. The other significant business principle is setting achievable goals that help an individual to appreciate their capabilities by giving them ideas concerning their full potential.

The primary purpose of setting goals is to determine what efforts a person must establish to assist them in reaching or leading to success once they are on the right journey. In the healthcare system, setting goals to improve communication amongst employees and managers much more straightforward by giving a system of a reminder that concentrates on setting goals. People can achieve this by utilizing performance management software that encourages effective communication across healthcare by cutting the system cost. Managing employees is also an essential principle of business effective employee management comprehends the nature of the job, the type of individual that would fit the job profile. It also empowers employees to perform on the assigned job since the management treats them with respect. Holt & Allen (2015) assert that in the sector of healthcare, employees should associate with the management to achieve their goals by doing their job to the best of their ability.
