Jane Sapp is an American gospel artist and cultural worker. Jane Sapp works with schools and community centers to teach music. She is an educator and at the same time, an activist whose focus on social transformation is on the traditions of African America. The cruel experience of Jim Crow motivated Jane's decision to start up a music workshop where she can motivate and inspire black children to become better in the society. 

Jane's target group is black teenagers who experience various challenged based on their color. Her intervention is meant to ensure that she motivates and promotes the spirit of confidence among the black American Children. She teaches these children to express themselves, thus reducing the cases of depression and engaging in criminal activities.

Jane’s actions can be considered an act of social change as she changes the perception of black children about themselves. She teaches young children to adopt social values like equality, justice, and economic development to bring a change in society. She teaches them to manage their anger while growing in the racist and classist society to make positive changes as opposed to adverse effects. Mainly, Jane's music is meant to instill some inspiration among African American children to help them overcome their challenges in life through the expression of their feelings. 

Jane's actions, have long-term consequences on children as they have a better and happier life in the future. Enhancing creative activities like playing instruments, sharing about their feelings, and singing help them relieve their stress and depression. Since she provides a platform for children to state their feeling as compared to other places like schools, these children will grow being respectable members of society. They will obtain the ability to express themselves without necessarily the need to be depressed. 

Jane's actions imply that in the future, the number of people facing depression and other problems related to being a black child in America will reduce. People will have better and more positive approaches to their challenges.
