Introduction 

The development of cities or the construction of urban city centers is an art that most people deem invisible. Cites are on an outlook vie provides a sense of right feeling and togetherness. A group of people from vast backgrounds are brought together by the excellent image of the city. Some architects vie the city as a vast space, like those architects on paper, yet to be implemented on a real landscape. Urban design, most famously known as city design and development is influenced by temporal arts that are controlled by some issues and phenomenon that drive about the existence of people in the latter areas. People are derived from varying theories and mission and ambitions that far outweigh the underlying principles of which the cities are built. Aspirations like fats wealth accumulation, employment opportunities, greed, power, are some of the factors that drive people into the cities, and these greatly influence the image and the form of the developing cities. If a city is derived by the influence of industrial growth, then it will b,e soon flourishing like a garden of flower that has never missed a sprinkle of water to quench the thirst of the people coming into the city. As noted earlier, the city form is a factor that is mainly determined by the phenomena that drive people into that particular city. 

The governments always tend to contain the forms of many cities by designing a planned approach on how the houses, roads, infrastructures are set in the latter developing regions of the country (Cherry, 2013). For Instance, In Sydney, a plan has been laid by the government to curb the congestions experienced both in the outskirts and in the inner side of the city. The building is structured to provide a beautiful sense of feeling to anyone having an outlook view. The form of a city can also be viewed as a vast blue sky, with no concrete structure to define the founder. No one can ever be identified to be the founder of Sydney, in the actual sense. It is lied out of the foundations that people came together to see the exchange of their in-house acquired goods and services with those that they do not have. In other words, it would be, correct to say that city centers are developed are structured based on the nature and interest of people in the act. Some cities are formed as a result of farmers coming together to farm in the available vast lands, while others are as a result of business opportunities.

Some city centers thrived as a result of colonization. Colonists were looking for a strategic location that would provide better self-defense against the hostile and rioting citizens of the colonized states. For Instance one of the cities in Africa, Kenya, Mombasa, was founded on this manner. The image of the city is still based on the artifacts produced by the colonist, Britain. In this document, the focus is projected towards the identification and critical analysis of the visible components that influence the city form. The parts are considered to be vital events or occurrences that determine and dictate the image of the city, or the city form. However, for the interest of the academic matters, only one of the components is going to be covered, of which is the Housing component of a city. 

The component 

Housing as it sounds represents some issues that greatly mark and influence the development and the form of a city. Some cities are seen to be in possession of luxurious housing facilities than others. For instance, the city of Sydney is standing strong regarding hosing than the rest of other city centers in Australia. This development I am surely dependent on some underground issues that most of the growing urban centers in the same state cannot afford (Turner, 2007). Most of the people moving into the city are perceived to be having a robust financial base, something that lacks in the other cities (Wakely, 2014). The stats reveal that most of the immigrants coming into Australia are considering the move to the city of Sydney. It is worth noting that these immigrants are having significant levels of skills and specializations. Some are professors, engineers, educators, mentors, scientist, business persons and even unskilled. When these characters are put together, fast growth of a city is nothing but a realized phenomenon. 

Even though the housing aspect of a city influences its form, the factor is not a radical one. It's something that happens over time. It is always a slow occurrence. It can take years, decades before the real image of the city can be realized. Many investors come to the cities, with the aim of gaining some profit from their investments. They, in turn, set up houses, industries for their employees to habit and work. They are not aware that their activities result in the transformation of the city. The development of the modern housing systems has been something in the offing since the beginning of the 21st century (Weston, 2013). The advancement of the technology has seen the structuring and development of houses that match the needs and interests of the modern people, as (Weston, 2013) puts it. 

However, the housing can contribute to the betterment of the city image or the diminishing of the city centers (Potter and Unwin, 2005). If a suitable structure is not put in place to contain the mass movement of people who move into the large urban city centers with the idea of getting jobs, the excess pressure is going to be inserted into the limited housing resources, the outcome is something not exciting and not appealing to the eye. Development of low-class house is seen to be on the rise, so-called slams. The image and form of such centers cannot appeal to anybody, as it is associated with some social, economic and political crisis and issues (McManus et al., 2010). For example, Sanitation in such environments is wanting, diseases are prone on the lives of the typical habitats, theft, political outrage are just but some of the issues to cite out. Moreover, the amount of investment practices and events that might be channeled towards such a state is in diminishing. No Investor can be willing to invest in a project that its long-term output is insufficient if not finite (McManus et al., 2010). Consider the level of investments in Australian large city centers with good infrastructures, to those of low calls setups; you will realize that the face of the Urban centers in contention of better foundations and planning including housing, attracts much more investment opportunities than the latter, which is more admirable and beautiful. 

Invisible Phenomenon Associated with housing 

When considering the growth and form of cities regarding housing, it would be right to explain that many invisible factors or consequences are associated with it. One main or conspicuous outcome related to a house is the renewal. This term or word can have some meaning, but for this writing, the time is described as the process of renovating and improving a house or district so that it conforms to middle-class taste. It involves converting or re-innovating the existing houses, just constructing the new ones (Turner, 2007). Before the 21st Century, the pictures of the housing facilities in Sydney were not as better and beautiful as they seem right now, and that is gentrification in action. It would be awesome to imagine the nature of the buildings in this city, by the end of the next decade. Better, modern, beautiful housing facilities or rental apartment will be in the offing. The process of coming up or renovating the city center houses comes with its effects, both admirable and miserable (McManus et al., 2010). Even though this does not influence the radical change in the form of the city, it greatly affects its structure and looks in a short span. 

Regarding economic empowerment and growth of a city center, gentrification process is a masterpiece at it. Development is always realized because of innovations and investments, that means that for a new house to be laid out, there must be a certain amount of stocking made. When investors come to a city to ensure proper amounts of returns in their investment endeavors, they always put in a considerable amount of capital (Arefi, 2011). The more the investments are projected towards the realization of an absolute dream, the hike in the economic status of the people living in such setups is inevitable. This phenomenon is positive a far as the gentrification process is considered. It will in the improved livelihood of the people, better health care, and even improved infrastructure regarding communication and roads construction (Gosling, 2016). However, one of the pieces of literature documented by (Arefi, 2011), states that the nature of the housing facilities provided by the public, that is, the government is far much worse than that offered by the private sectors. It is worth stressing that the latter practices improve the level of economic empowerment. 

Another factor to consider is the environmental issues arising as a result of gentrification. It is believed that before the discovery of the house structures, people used to live in caves, and on tries. Although no tangle evidence has been provided to prove the latter, and that nature was o friendly, plants of different species were flourishing with joy; no human interference was encountered then (Gosling, 2016). However, the discovery of housing facilities has seen into the destruction of these beautiful species of plants, resulting in their diminish. It would be better to state that even though development of the houses is a vital issue in the survival of the modern human species, its consequences on the environment is far much worse. We destroy the natural phenomenon to set up our modern features and then start complaining about the bad atmospheric air, saying its contaminated and polluted, yet we are the creator of these troubles. Let us save the complaints to ourselves and acknowledge that the lust and greed of humans in the cause of the latter. When reconstructing a house, it would mean destroying parts of it or entirely demolishing it. During the demolition process specks of dust are released into space, these dusts are harmful to the human health. When inhaled some cause allergies, skin diseases. Don't even think of what happens when it mixes with the mist to form rain. We tap the rain just but to consume poisonous and dangerous water. Stomachaches, water-borne diseases, and even cancers are just but few incandescences of harmful effects associated with pollution. The point being stressed here is that gentrification is a bad influence on the environment. As far the environmental conservation process is concerned, restoration is the worst enemy. 

Last but not least is the social issues that accompany the gentrification as a process. When people live in confined congested areas, undesirable events are bound to happen. Theft, poor sanitation, crowing and immoralities are everyday occurrences. The city contains many features and elements, and merely cataloging them or their mobility is not enough to define the specific qualities of urban life or to understand their practices and inner grammars and regimes of knowledge (Freewan, Gharaibeh, and Jamhawi, 2014). When many people move into the town, they have the idea that they are going to get the housing ever, not considering the rental rates in the city. Realizing that the prices are unrealizable, they sort of low-class houses. This best explains why low-class housing cities are more populated than those who are not. The movement of people cannot be stopped, but the plan should be stipulated to encounter the number of people moving into the city centers and the pressure to be exerted on the available scarce resources such as housing. Development or reconstructing of the housing facilities in the cities will look into the ensuring that the form of the city is streamlined and image set beautiful to the outside world (Hakim, 2011). 

Imagine the image of Texas right now, so awesome. To state that restructuring is having a positive graph on that sector. Many housing facilities as mentioned earlier are a key to ensuring that simple social crimes and immoralities are reduced. AS people come into the city centers and realize that there are enough and affordable housing facilities, the thought of venturing into unethical practices such as theft and burglary (Walters, 2011). Sanitation and health conditions, in general, are improved, as people will now have reliable, adequate and necessary resources that support the standard human requirement. What is not still clear is that why it is that most of the developments are only done on the already developed cities or middle-class developed cites. You will hear that one-story building is on the rise in of the urban cities, but rarely hear even the construction of wooden houses in the marginalized cities, that is low-class housing cities (Martinez, 2014). Having a roof over your head that is free from congestion is a good feeling to anyone. Even though it is documented that the world population is to be shooting to about four billion by 2030 it is still a good idea to continue renovating and construction of houses that will ensure that all the necessary facilities are attained by the occupants of a particular (Potter and Unwin, 2005). I would not be a surprise to hear or see people stop congesting the urban facilities when the concept of regional balancing is adopted. Investors should be encouraged to invest or set up their investments in the slowly developing or those provinces that are left behind in development (Freewan, Gharaibeh, and Jamhawi, 2014). This will ensure that the cities in these provinces gain much-desired form and image considerably. Even the so favorite urban cities such as Sydney will experience a sense of relief in the pressure on the available resources and the change in the form of the city will not be as fast as it is at the moment. Even congestion on the roads will be significantly minimized. After examining all the factors it, not a denial claim that gentrification has a positive influence on the housing element as a component in the form a city. 

Conclusion 

Every citizen of any country has long been associated with one of the cities or some parts of it. The form and image of the great and famous urban cities are founded on the movement of people in and out of the city and investments made. A country will become large population, and a good plan is far much ahead regarding its city structures, form an image. In this document, we viewed the component that defines the form of a city, Housing and closely examined some of the invisible events or phenomena associated with each one of them. It is found that gentrification has a bad influence as far as the environmental conservation principles are concerned. It holds a positive impact on both economic and social issues.
