Communication situation is understood as any kind of situation where communication process is taking place. That is, in form of conversation, telephone, radio or film, and texts in any form. In most cases, communication occurs between individuals having interpersonal relation. This relationship signifies that there is a strong bond between two or more people either as friends or colleagues in an organization. Typically, in any communication, there exist both the sender and the receiver of the information forming a communication process. The situation in which this communication occurs either negatively or positively affects the intention of the sender and the message itself. The success of the intended communication is determined by the senders assessing and evaluating the situation effectively otherwise, the communication may not be successfully achieved. 

Generally, interpersonal relationship develop either by individuals working together in one organization, as a team and between man and woman affair among others. These relations exist and are maintained by having the constant regular communications among themselves. This communication is either verbally through face to face conversation or telephone, or nonverbally such as emails, texts memos and letters. The ease constant communication sustains the relationship’s continuity. Notably, it is human nature and most people would want to avoid a conflict or difficult situations. One may choose not to communicate something where he imagines that the communication may be controversial. A clear example is where in an organizational setup, a manager fends off informing employees that the quality and standard of work output is not satisfactory. In this instance, the manager feels or puts off having that ‘intricate’ conversation with fellow employees. This may be on matters unethical conduct, financial or personal emotion (McQuail & Windahl, 2015). Similarly, in some circumstances, an employee in an organization faces such difficult situations of communication his job description struggles and challenges to his manager.

In analyzing the above situations, the questions of why communication situations happen and how can it be avoided always come up. Basically, most people think that putting off such a difficult conversation and let it pass will help alleviate the situation. This, however, does not happen. The consequential effect is that it leads to more frustration, anger, and more anxiety. Important, the challenge created by communication situations can be avoided in several ways. Firstly the sender of the information should improve on having effective communication skills. These skills include both verbal and nonverbal dexterity such as body language, eye contact, friendly tendency and most importantly improved interpersonal skills (McQuail, & Windahl, 2015). Secondly, the sender of information should work most importantly on his ability of properly evaluating the situation existing in order to achieve that indented communication successfully. 

In conclusion, it is notable that communication is the core subject in any interpersonal relationship and without it, the relation ceases to exist. This communication should be good where everyone in the relationship feels heard and understood to avoid frustrations and conflicts. Maintaining good relation and improving proper communication is not an easy task, it is not an event but rather an ongoing process. Recommendable, to succeed and avoid communication situations in an organizational setup there should be proper communication strategies such as. One should focus on being mindful on how one communicates, that is not only focused on the words in the message but also the tonality and body language; that is, having a relaxed stance and friendly eye contact. Secondly, giving undivided attention to communication situations whether with fellow employees or in group meetings to ensure there is proper focus and concentration. Fundamentally, employing the strategy of active listening by not monopolizing the conversation helps achieve effective communication and avoid difficult communication situation.
