The CHNA for JFK medical center is based on the identification of the major community health needs through triangulation ranking. The process entails input from all the members of the community. These health indicators provide a basis for setting a priority on the most health element to focus on within the community. Unlike JFK, the Atlantic health system uses a proactive and diverse engagement of the community to find a lasting solution to the community health problems. With the application of a wide range of interventions, it allows for the system to focus on addressing any disparities that may exist amongst the populations. It is also based on the collection of detailed data about various health problems within the community to provide better understanding of how well to approach these issues.
