Nevertheless, the USA is currently moving towards a universal healthcare system where every citizen is entitled to quality health and affordable care services. The British health care services are mainly funded by the government, especially through taxation. The government funds the health system through tax income. However, the NHS ensures that people and health experts are actively involved in formulation and implementation of health policies. On the contrary, healthcare services in the US are funded through a combination of many stakeholders that include insurance companies, employees, employers, and the government ( Eckelman & Sherman, 2016) .
