Human body presents various similarities to a factory due to the presence of different parts and structures that work together to achieve specific functions. Specifically, the body comprises many organelles that perform varied roles. For instance, the body’s nucleus represents a company’s board of management due to its significance in coordinating the genes that determine expression. The nucleus’ role correlates to the functions of a company’s management board following their importance in making decisions that determine the organization’s operations.

Additionally, the body’s mitochondria represent an organization’s finance department due to their roles of converting the resources into money to inject energy in various branches to influence effectiveness in their operations. In particular, the mitochondria are responsible for converting oxygen into chemical energy to enable the organization to achieve various functions. Consequently, the body’s lysosomes relate to experts in the organization who are responsible for performing various functions according to their expertise to improve the organization’s activities. Further, the body’s Golgi apparatus represents an organization’s production department due to its role in processing proteins that provide energy in the body. Besides Golgi apparatus, the human body’s ribosomes that perform the task of linking amino acids that contribute to protein synthesis to produce energy resembles a factory’s recruiting panel that identifies experts in various fields and interviews them for multiple positions in the organization. Consequently, the endoplasmic reticulum that serves the purpose of connecting various cells in the body is similar to an organization's human resource department that is charged with the role of connecting the employees to understand their concerns towards the organization’s success. Additionally, the cell membrane resembles an organization’s security department due to its role in controlling the movements of substances in and out of the organelles for effective functioning.
