Comparing the NCVS and the Uniform Crime Report

I enjoyed reading your essay about the interrelation between the criminal justice system and political ideologies interest. I concur with your assertion that political interests have a hand in the formulation of policies in the criminal justice system. The above are aspects that you assert that they are espoused by different research undertakings. True to your word, unbiased research is an indispensable tool for policymakers (Noble, Hellen & Smith, 2015). Another desirable aspect of the essay is it is expansive, leaving no room for the reader to question some aspects since they are fully explained. Drawing from the discussion in the course helps in further strengthening your argument. Besides, giving your views as a criminal justice leader on the NCVS shows the internalization of the reading materials related to this course. This is further exemplified by the comparison you give between the NCVS and the Uniform Crime Report (UCR). In terms of the credibility of research undertakings, researchers could be viewed as leaders. The bible requires that all their undertakings are credible and trustworthy to ensure better outcomes for citizens. One of the most notable aspects that has caught my attention is the real-life example that you give about a class you took in which you had to take a stand about the use of non-lethal Taser weapons on children. This is a vivid example that helps to contextualize your argument and further help the reader to understand the essay in general. Another great aspect that I picked from the essay is the fact that police officers are trained on how to interject and research about an issue from a professional point of view. The paper has a lot of strong points that generally helps in the understanding of the criminal justice system. However, to make the paper more directional, I suggest discussing and exhausting one aspect at a time before moving to the next. This will also make the argument more coherent.
