Every person in the world requires optimal and proper care while in a hospital or a medical center. It’s upon every nurse to ensure the surrounding environment for patients is habitable and conducive. But, there is a huge factor that hinders proper nursing care which is the cultural aspect of a person. Culture holds a vast domain in people’s lives due to the urge of wanting to abide by the rules undertaken by the forefathers of the community (Spector, 2013) . It holds a significant influence in the medical sector as traditions within a community hold a higher position on health than modernized science. I interviewed a person of Arabic culture, and there were key issues that emerged involving caring people of culture.

The language element arose as the most important area that affects the nursing capacity of an individual with Arabic culture. Currently, Muslims hold a significant proportion of the population present in America. Nevertheless, not every Muslim person can competently understand English. The language barrier aspect poses to limit proper care to the community as they can only correctly read their mother tongue. Many people are forced to hire or look for translators to facilitate excellent communication which tops up their expenses. Additionally, some stick to traditional methods of healing which over the years has caused many to die thus failing to exploit their potential adequately (Allen, 2011) . There is need to bridge the language gap hindering the Muslims from fully utilizing medical care in the country.

Nevertheless, the way of communication is another point that affects adequate nursing care for people in the Muslim community. For example, some Muslims say they are experiencing physical and somatic symptoms rather than saying emotional symptoms such anxiety or stress. The difference may lead administering the wrong treatment and care in which patient conditions worsens to extreme amounts. More deaths end up registered with losses of $6000 of the Muslim workforce lost. Health providers need to be cognizant of some facts as some of the information is usually culturally driven.

Health is a crucial factor to every living being in the world. For one to be healthy, consumption of foods recommended by a nutritionist is key to prevent people from getting sick. In the case of Muslims, their religious belief bars them from consuming pig meat. As the nutritionist continue to advocate for consumption of white meat, the community is limited to consuming red meat such as that of cows and goats which have progressively increased diseases among people in the society (Spector, 2013) . The cultural beliefs phenomenon defines the Muslim community to a small range of food products. It possesses a barrier as nurses cannot adequately administer proper food nutrition as they have to abide by common beliefs of the Muslim.

The lifestyle phenomenon for Arabs with the Muslim had a significant contribution in affecting the proper care of people of Arabic culture. In perspective, the examination of how Muslims utilize the washroom. Muslims are known to use their hands instead to tissues to wipe their anal configuration. They use water as a way of cleansing them from the dirt. Anal hygiene is a sensitive point for many health scientists in the world. The failure to utilize the recommended means by doctors, increase vulnerability to diseases. Nursing care fails to apply within the Muslim individuals as germs cannot be a 100 percent destroyed with soap and water. The remaining percentage ends contaminating food for consumption which ends up having a significant repercussion on the person’s health

Also, traditions in childbirth and childrearing further affect the nursing care phenomena. During childbirth, female attendees are the ones usually allowed in the delivery room as males are prohibited. It creates a discriminatory scenario as men can optimally perform the same and better compared to women (Spector, 2013) . Female nurse’s end up burdened with work as the lady specification gives people a small significance. The nursing sector ends up having problems with poor service delivery as specifications limit the full exploitation of resources available. It’s about time the Muslim community be taught on the importance of upholding different genders in a while administering all medical service.

The knowledge on the issues affecting the competency of the nursing sector with regards to the culturally competent care shows there is a need for change. The integration of culture awareness with the nursing area is a base of giving people the power to embrace the diverse culture. Imputing skills on health practitioners regarding culture consciousness offers a broad scope with which medical staff can approach people (Saver, 2007) . It will aid nurses to respect the cultural background of different people and have the ability to attend to them without biases. It provides room for evaluation and documentation of the patient’s needs. It enhances a doctor’s understanding of the cultural issues that may have affected the client's knowledge. The application of three changes would greatly benefit the nursing sector as a more generous nature, and relation would be created thus culturally competent care upheld.

Additionally, the cultural competency of an individual is key to ensuring nursing care is optimally administered. For my case, I hold a neutral position my personal opinions will not influence my view of patients with a cultural different from mine. Appreciating people backgrounds and uniqueness is essential in the medical expertise. Possessing a neutral gender will block any agenda regarding critics or favoritism analogies. If it does not help the client, I'll hold it a loose bearing in my perspective. Strongly agreeing to support patients in any way possible despite their cultural background will greatly benefit the nursing care fraternity (Saver, 2007) . It all about upholding breaking human chains of discrimination and saving lives.

Moreover, learning has positively effect on the nursing care of individuals from diverse cultures. Myself, for instance, learning has enabled me to appreciate people cultural backgrounds. Sharing this information with friends and family would greatly change people perception concerning individual communities. Unity will rule as everyone will care for each other. It offers an easy time in administering nursing care as the surrounding love usually has a beneficial effect on the client (Allen, 2011) . Additionally, it will enable me to have a diverse approach towards different clientele. It makes one have a broad knowledge regarding various issues and concerns. While administering nursing care, I’ll attend to the individual’s needs in regards to his specification thus which boosts the nursing position in the society.

In conclusion, nursing care is a critical element affecting the nation. Every year the government deploys a substantial number of nurses to increase the medical care capacity available in medical centers. The Cultural phenomenon of people has its limitations in ensuring regular care is offered. People of Arabic culture have a greater bond with their religious beliefs compared to Christians. Some of the beliefs have a beneficial impact on them, but others may destroy their health levels. Good education to will enable the Muslim appreciate the diverse nature other communities possess thus will allow them to change their perspectives about science. It is important for medical workers to use artistic skill mechanisms that often assist in proper service provision for those that may have a different cultural background. Time has dawned on breaking bonds that bring ethnicity into the country hence become a united front. Educating the society on the cultural competency significance will boost the medical care levels of people. The nursing care effect becomes a great domain for the world.
