This is different from the 1990s generation when it was mostly associated with radios and televisions (Evans, 2017). Another significant message communicated is the ability to create their distinct cultures using the web rather than being consumers of an already created culture as portrayed by the 1990s culture who often relied on radios and watching television.
A child or an adolescent can be positively affected by the culture through global online discussion forums that can help them make informed decisions as a person.
