Content Analysis: Sexual Assault in High Schools

The ten cases support the second hypothesis. In most cases, which are female related, the punishments are very severe. In the ten cases, the male offender was only sentenced to days in jail, unlike female who faced years of probation or jail time. The ten cases led me to accept the second hypothesis. Most cases were with minors between the ages of 15 years to 18 years. The offenders who had sexual relations with the children in the age of 15 years faced up to fifteen years in jail for sexual assault. 

Sexual assaults in high schools are mainly between female teachers and male students. While researching, the sexual assaults by male teachers were not convicted. In most of the cases, the sexual relations were both physical and online through messages. There was an exchange of pornographic or nude materials between the teachers and the students. A number of cases from the ten involved married females. In most cases, the sexual relations lasted for a long period even up to six months with a number of encounters.
