Part A: Court Issues and Court Administrators
Judicial administrators are professions who deal with running of day-to-day activities in the courts. Courts in US, for instance have an administrative structure that serves to enhance the work of the judges and provide services to attorneys and citizen. The court administrators are important personnel in delivery of justice and access to court related services and information. However, these professionals are faced by numerous challenges in delivery of their duties and responsibilities. Some of the issues they have to deal with include increased court filings, shrinking budgets and dealing with racial and gender biasness in courts (Cooper, 2017).
The court administrators have the role to oversee budgets, select juror pools, assign judges to cases, create court calendars and supervise non-judicial personnel. One of the major issues they have to deal with is the certification of court interpreters for testimony given in languages other than English. With the diversity that is being witnessed it the society today, there are people from various cultures and they speak varying languages. For this reason, the cases that are being heard in the courts are in different languages. In this regard, the court administrators are faced with the challenge of learning new languages or hiring interpreters. Sometimes the interpreters are quite expensive to hire and they are not readily available. Considering the administrators are working on limited budgets maintaining such interpreters is a hard tasks and expensive duty. The other issues that are handled by court administrators include investigating and handling complains against lawyers, and other judicial professions, and eliminating biasness and racism in court systems and procedures (Cooper, 2017).

Part B: State Of Victims’ Rights
Following enactment of various laws, crime victims now have more rights than ever in history (Manhattanda.org, 2016). The United States department of justice have participated in the enactment of the crimes victims’ rights acts that describes the rights of the crime victims. Some of the rights provided in this act include the following
The right to be reasonably protected from the accused.
The right to be reasonable, accurate, and timely in notice of any public court proceedings, or any parole proceeding, involving the crime, or of any release or escape of the accused.
The right to be excluded from the any public court proceedings that determines that the testimony by the victim would be materially altered if the victim heard other testimony at that proceedings.
The right to be reasonably heard at any public proceeds in the district court involving release, plea, sentencing or any parole proceeding (Smith, 2018).
Reasonable right to confer with the attorney for the government in the case
Right to full and timely restitutions as provided by law
The right to proceedings free form unreasonable delay
The right to be informed in a timely manner of any plea bargain or deferred prosecution agreement.
The right to be treated with fairness, with respect for the victim’s dignity and privacy.
The New York state has also enacted laws and policies that ensure victims’ rights are provided and protected as expected by the state and federal law (Justice .gov, 2016). According thru the New York Government website, victims are said to have rights to information, to notification and sometimes right to compensation. The state reports that it has been working to insure victims’ rights for over 50 years and has participated in protecting victims’ rights according to law (Ny.Gov, 2017).
According to the New York county district attorney’s office (2017), the victims’ rights provided by the state government include the following:
Right to protection form threats, physical injuries, or other type of intimidation. But this has t be provided with an order if protection from the court.
Protection forms employer dismissal or penalties for attendance at criminal actions as long as the employer is notified at least one day in advance.
The right to financial compensation from the New York State of victim services.
Right to retrieve stolen property held as evidence unless there is a compelling reason for retaining it
Right to request restitution as part so a defendants sentencing
Notification of the final disposition of the case
Right to make an oral; statement to the court at the defendants sentencing.
Additionally Ney York has a state office for victims services that is responsible for compensating victims of crime for some un-reimbursed loss incurred as a result if victimization.
If I had to change one thing in the court system it would be the provision of assistance to the victims. Sometimes the victims who are in court for the first time they have challenges in following court processes and procedure. I would suggest hiring of more assistant staff to help with this issue.
