Clinical research is only complete upon the effective sharing of the findings with other healthcare providers. Currently, there are two main techniques used in disseminating the conclusions of the study. They include oral presentations and written reports. Despite the popularity of the concept of evidence-based practice, the most challenging task, the implementation stage, is often left to the nurses who might be unprepared for the challenge. To deliver quality care, it is necessary for research to be integrated with EBP.

Support of EBP

It is essential for healthcare facilities to dedicate time and resources to support clinical research and subsequently EPB. My facility is currently focused on delivering EPB care to our patients. One system that supports this strategy is the recent adoption of new upper management in the facility that illustrates that the current administration recognizes the importance of EPB (Straka, Brandt, & Brytus, 2012) . Moreover, our facility recently embraced the concept of a shared committee which demonstrates that nurses are involved in decision-making thus have voices in the practices adopted in the facility.

Strategy for Strengthening EBP Culture

The most critical and challenging stage of EBP practice is the implementation phase. Strategies to improve EBP in our organization entail adopting implementation strategies that engage all medical providers. Cullen and Adams (2012) suggest ed the four-stage implementation strategy that encompasses; creating awareness and curiosity, building understanding and dedication, stimulating acceptance and pursuing assimilation and sustained application. Currently, my facility struggles with efforts of creating interest which often reduces the chances of success of new strategies. It is essential for nurse leaders in the organization to encourage change through communicating the rationale for the change in efforts of motivating other clinicians in the organization.

Nurses Role in EBP

Nurses have the responsibility of not only conducting research but also sharing the findings and conclusions of their studies in a bid to improve the quality of care. In recent years, it is acknowledged that nurses continue to assume a crucial role in the provision of healthcare (Polit & Beck, 2017) . Therefore, it is necessary for all nurses across the globe to not only embrace new techniques but also participate in the development of the idea, strategies, and procedures that are intended to deliver effective and ideal care to patients. Undeniably, it is essential for nurses to be involved in learning and integration associated with EBP to achieve significant outcomes.
