The perfect model for criminal justice system should promote honor and integrity in each endeavor, both on or outside the job. However, there are sometimes gaps that exist because Biblical principles have not been inculcated in the workplace. There is a thin line between Christian principles and workplace rules and procedures. Consequently, it is a possibility that someone can hold to Biblical ideal in line of duty in any criminal justice system (Davids, 2017). This paper critically examines the relationship between crisis management and the justice professional and constructively identify the gaps and omissions in the literature where a Biblical Worldview should be internalized and expressed in the life of the criminal justice professional. Crisis management and justice professional have a common course to shun personal ethics and promote the values that will bring solutions. Proper values should be embraced by the criminal justice system to eliminate some improper workplace subcultures (Bounds, 2015). Several aspects of the biblical worldview are present in the detention centers, courtrooms, and some environments of the criminal justice system. Crisis management and justice professional begin to relate when the academic culture may not possibly be applied in the workplace setting (DeValve & Brightman, 2018). However, justice professionals should endeavor to embrace biblical standards to lead their work. This is difficult, particularly when there is a burden to manage crises and fit the mold. Whereas it is biblically right to comply with the values that overlap in the justice professional, Christian law enforcement officers must recognize where they can distinguish themselves and stick to the framework of Christianity. Another aspect that was mishap is capital punishment. Capital punishment would give the offenders no option as opposed to the response of God who always shows mercy for grave sinners. However, Christian values advocated for the initiation of incarceration to replace capital punishment. The idea was to grant the offenders an opportunity to be reformed and translated (DeValve & Brightman, 2018). The transformation that the prison system has turned to is because of Biblical ideals that have been promoted in the criminal justice system. According to Davids (2017), the church has been used to bring down the level of executions by encouraging the use of physical punishments and mutilations other than capital punishment. Church policies have been instrumental in reducing and humanizing penalties that could have been harsh. In Matthew, Jesus said, "I was in prison and you came to visit me." Outreach is necessary for all groups of people, but particularly among imprisoned offenders. Offenders will be better advantaged if they are allowed to establish a good relationship with Jesus Christ (Mosteller, 2017) . As such, the justice professionals in the criminal justice system should follow professional standards. At the same time, they have an opportunity to demonstrate empathy and compassion to imprisoned persons, which forms parts of a biblical worldview (DeValve & Brightman, 2018). They should be motivated to give a remarkable model with their lives of what it should be as guided by biblical standards and morals (Bounds, 2015). The Christ-like behavior, when displayed, stimulates numerous random actions of kindness that shown to in the criminal justice system today. In conclusion, simple training and education have not helped the criminal justice system to eliminate the gaps and compromises in the society. The worldview and wrong attitudes have enhanced over time, and the biblical worldview becomes significant to deal with some of these. In those tense circumstances in the criminal justice professional, the underlying societal worldview will probably affect how he or she reacts. On the other hand, professionals that have a consistent biblical worldview endeavor to acknowledge Christ’s ways in everything that they do. This is also not a guarantee that the professionals are certainly not to fall short of this ideal. However, the biblical worldview can successfully lead them through challenging ethical dilemmas that come their way.
