Every tourist destination has its uniqueness. Several factors, such as the development of motor travel and domestic tourism, significantly contributed to the current growth of foreign tourism in the country. Trends such as golf tourism and diver tour are emerging in Thailand. The presence of natural attractions and cultural attractions such as Buddhist temples not only make tourists visit Thailand but also stay there even longer.

To begin with, Thailand is richly dense with natural attractions that attract tourists to the country. The tourist destination currently has 77 national parks. Thailand is indeed home to various species of wild animals and tropical fish. One of the misconceptions that people have about Thailand is that it is a rainforest jungle (Richards, 2018). However, the ground cover has non-indigenous trees, as opposed to the thick vegetation and tall trees that existed before.

The second reason why tourists visit Thailand is the presence of cultural attractions. Any foreigner would like to learn about the cultural heritage that Thai tourism offers. The most important aspect of cultural attraction is the presence of Buddhist temples (Richards, 2018). Chiang Mai temples are indeed spread all over the country as there are around 300 ‘wats’ currently. The decorations on these temples are beautifully done using wood and stone. In addition to the decorations, tourists can attend some of the festivals in the temples.

In conclusion, Thailand tops the list when it comes to the best tourist attraction destinations. The attractive landscape and the animals both on land and on water bodies are just but a few reasons. However, one reason that makes Thailand stand out is the cultural aspect. The temples are of great value to the tourism sector in Thailand. Anyone looking for a tourist destination should take a trip to Thailand.

The Great Wall is one of the major tourist attractions in China. The most commonly visited section of the wall is Badaling, probably because of its scenic location and a high altitude. Other sections of the wall include the Huangua section, Hebei Province, Siwatai, and Miyun County sections. The emergence of tour companies illustrates quality improvement, and this has made competition steeper. Some sections of the wall get crowded, and this is a disappointment to tourists who do not like large groups of people. In an attempt to develop the tourism industry, China is focusing on integrating culture in tourism, investing rationally, and getting innovative.

The Forbidden City in Beijing is the most extensive collection of ancient buildings. The place integrates the ancient Chinese culture, and this has brought about a great revolution in terms of the content. The site receives millions of tourists annually. Tourists who would like to visit The Forbidden City should be ready to meet large groups of people as this is the routine here. One trend here is that tourists are allowed to climb the walls of The Forbidden City and see the elements places which were not open to the public earlier.

China has invested rationally in the tourism sector through The Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in Chengdu. Chengdu is the site to visit when looking for a place that is out in nature. Chengdu is the home of one of the world’s rarest animals, the panda (Cong et al., 2014). Tourists all over the world visit to see and feed pandas, which are treasured and loved in China. Apart from seeing pandas, tourists go to Chengdu town to see the ancestral temples of Wuhou and Wenshu Yuan Monastery.

In conclusion, cultural tourism is an essential investment in China. Through integrating cultural aspects in tourism, China receives many visitors who come to see either the Great Wall or the Forbidden City, which have a rich cultural heritage. The efforts to improve tourism by integrating culture in tourism, investing rationally, and getting innovative are bearing fruits in the tourism industry.
