During this period, isolation and lockdown, depression, and mental health have become a crucial topic among seniors. The elderly are undergoing stricter visitation regarding their areas of residence. To manage the task of teaching the seniors about depression, I will need to create a team of willing and able community health education providers. Here, I will consider specific factors and approaches to professional partnerships. Adequate health literacy is one factor that will help me and my colleagues to portray our professional personal characteristics, exploit available health resources, and useful information to be accessible by seniors in the community. Another factor is our level of respect and trust in other people's diversity and wishes to learn from each other ( Estacio et al., 2017 ). Diversity brings out contemporary experiences, skills, and knowledge, which contributes majorly to the partnership's strength. To approach professional partnerships, I will set a clear goal that will form the key focus for our exercise of educating seniors concerning quarantining depression. I will also set fair rules to govern the team to ensure all possible occurrences tension and conflicts, through blurring relationship boundaries, do not occur. I will equip my team with relevant skills and resources to enhance their ability to address depression issues related to quarantine among seniors in the most engaging way.
Question 2
Collaboration is the foundation of the success of any team as a healthcare professional cooperation with other workers improves the standards of healthcare and increasing patient's outcome. This also enhances the cooperation and communication between professionals, enhancing the safety and quality of patient care (Fernandez & Grand, 2015). The interprofessional collaboration approach allows a professional to use his/her skills and experience with other professionals hence delivering more effective and high-level services. Collaborations will help to reduce impotence and the healthcare costs by preventing medical faults, thus improving the patient experience. The alliance strengthens the relationship between the staff by equalizing the playing field and admitting that every person in the healthcare team plays an important role (Bridges et al., 2011). The coordination between the workers ensures that the right information to the right people at the right time through channels like messaging.
