Dietrich Bonhoeffer was born on 4 th February 1906 who was a German protestant with strong Christian values and faith. During his career growth, Hitler rose to power to become the Chancellor of Germany in 1933 (Hauerwas, 2015) . Together with other pastors, they organized the various church activities which declared it full support to Jesus Christ which was against Hitler’s wish ( Christian History, n.d) . His strong faith leads him to write various books and articles which all tried to urge for more faithful and radical obedience to Jesus Christ. 

He was also teaching other pastors in underground seminary which the state had openly rejected. The government under the leadership of Hilter was able to close the church which was significant opposition to Hitler rule. Dietrich Bonhoeffer then changed his tactics where he also become a German secret service while still traveling to various churches as well as helping Jews escape the Nazi oppression (Nullens, 2018) . Due to his strong faith and Christian values, Dietrich Bonhoeffer becomes involved in plan to remove him from power.

More troubles emerged when his role to rescue Jews were discovered which lead him to Tegel prison. Due to his actions and need to kill Hitler, he spent two years in prisons while still preaching to other prisoners and reflecting on the love of God. His passion for religion continued in prison, but he was later transferred from Tegel prison to Buchenwald. His faith and involvement in overthrowing and kill Hitler resulted in his imprisonment and execution. On April 9 th , 1945, he was hanged with six other main resisters as a result of court-martial verdict was read to them (Nullens, 2018) . But before his performance, he was able to kneel on the floor and prayed to God; hence he was ready to die entirely submissive to the will of God.
