Different students have their preferred way of learning. Learning styles entails process through which a student comprehends and retains information. When learning how to do something, some students will prefer physical manipulation on the object while others will prefer understanding the procedure by taking in instructions verbally. Some individuals may use different learning styles depending on the circumstances presented before them (Pritchard, 2014). The different learning styles by individuals known both in the educational theory and also as a strategy in classroom management are becoming known widely. The prior experience, environmental, emotional and cognitive factors contribute significantly to reveal the individual's learning styles.

According to the questionnaire, my learning style is multimodal which combines the Aural and Read/Write. The multimodal strategy is the process by which students learn and comprehend information through two or more types of modalities. My preferred way of learning is through the kinesthetic process. The process of kinesthetic makes me grasp concepts easily since the procedure involves a physical style of passing information. Kinesthetic uses more of physical movement and touch in learning. On the other hand Aural and read/write way of learning involves both listening and taking down the points discussed in class. Learning styles affect how we relate with friends, family members as well as how an individual will perform in school. The different learning styles are significant to a learner and will play a significant role in the understanding process as well as processing information.

In the visual learning style, an individual learns by seeing things. In the educational activities, these individuals are best in planning long-range events and good in spelling. However, the learners must have their instructions written down since they have remembering troubles for verbal instructions. Auditory learning style is whereby the learner understands information well through hearing. These set of learners prefer talking than writing in school. However, they get distracted easily by noise and have problems in understanding projects that involve visualizing.
