Digital marketing is becoming an essential means of marketing and especially for small and upcoming businesses that have a relatively lower budget. For this company, digital marketing will serve the purpose of identifying the unique needs and goals of its consumer; thus, guiding the firm in the production of products that meet these goals and needs. 

Importance of digital marketing for the company 

Most companies have at least one marketing strategy that they employ in their firm. Digital marketing is a common strategy that the company’s competitors are already using. Many people spend a considerable amount of time on digital platforms; thus, the strategy has the ability to reach more consumers. Digital marketing will facilitate the company to compete with larger companies while also enabling it to target the ideal audience. Digital marketing will help monitor marketing campaigns and optimize them for enhanced results. It is also able to allow the company to get a good return on investment (ROI) while also generating higher revenues. Through digital marketing, the company will be able to earn the industry trust while also facilitating its online business survival.

4 Ps of marketing  

When marketing a product to consumers, it is important to consider the 4 Ps. For this firm, the 4 Ps will ensure a good marketing mix by defining the company’s marketing options. The company’s 4Ps are described below; 

Product- The company will be manufacturing and selling Personal computers and Laptops. 

Price- The company will use penetration pricing by setting lower prices to penetrate the competitive market and increase it later. The company will also use competitive pricing by setting prices based on the prices charged by competitors. 

Promotion – The company will use advertising through various channels, like displaying ads and its website. It will also use sales representatives to promote the products. The company stores will also market directly to potential customers. The company will partner with various institutions like schools and colleges to directly market their products. 

Place- The company will use its official website so that the customers can order directly from them. It will also use their physical stores where customers can visit and make purchases. It will also select authorized dealers where customers can buy their products from. 

Digital Marketing Channels 

The company will use two main digital marketing channels. It will make use of the company’s official website, as this is the ideal channel. The company will use content marketing campaigns that will allow people to view the products they are selling. They will also use display advertisements. These will either contain videos, images, or audios describing the product range and specifications to better communicate the advertising message. 

Digital Marketing Analytics Tools 

           To review their digital marketing strategies, the company will use two main analytic tools; google analytics and Moz Pro. Google Analytics is a free and widely used tool by many companies. It allows tracking of traffic on the company website, enables a company to see where visitors come from, and where the company ranks on search engines. Moz Pro is the second analytics tool that has a flexible price; thus, will not cost the company a lot of money. The tool’s advantage is that it provides data on competitors and their rankings on search engines. 

Digital Marketing Plan 

The digital marketing campaign’s goals for the firm are to increase traffic on the website and generate leads and revenue. They also aim at increasing user engagement and increasing conversions rates, thus growing their customer base. Finally, they also aim at managing their company reputation, which will enhance customer retention, thus increasing their sales and profits. 

The key performance indicators for the company include the company’s lead generation, conversions per channel, sales per visit, revenue per customer, and cost per lead. The company will also look at their cost to acquire customers, return on investment, time spent on the website, direct traffic, and the referral traffic they get. 

Target-The company has also come up with its target to maximize its efficiency. They will strive to minimize the bounce rate, increase organic traffic volumes, increase the percentage of return visitors, improve the conversion rate, and increase sales volumes. 

The analytics tools will analyze six segments of the company. These segments are the level of engagement, the number of subscribers to the website, brand recognition, the number of conversions of real customers, organic traffic from visitors, and the brand reputation. 

Conclusion 

It is important for the PC/laptop manufacturing firm to use Digital marketing for the products. The approach is not only cost effective but is also guaranteed to maximize their profits and reach their ideal customers. Using the analytics tools will help in evaluating whether the goals and objectives have been met and how to scale productions for the firm.
