The article is the first ever recorded case on the observation of a connection between lactose intolerance and epilepsy in a young child. The burden of the article is proving the connection between lactose intolerance and epilepsy. The case involves a 5-year-old child with a history of epileptic seizures noted from the time milked milk was introduced in its diet. A removal of the milk in its diet resulted in a positive response in reduced seizures. The child tested negative on all major tests diagnosing for disorders associated with epilepsy. The child’s history in her both personal life and family had no trace of seizures or predisposing factors. The impacts caused by lack of galactose, on the neural system is the possible cause of the child’s seizures combined with other elements such as gastrointestinal complications and muscle degeneration, which originate from clogging of anaerobic respiration in the large intestine as a result of lactose intolerance. It is amazing how a simple diet like animal milk can cause epileptic seizures in a child.

Milk is a common diet in many children. How comes that not all children taking animal milk are affected by epileptic seizures. Perhaps there are other predisposing factors like genetical predispositions.

The main purpose of the article is to distinguish between gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GORD) and gastro-esophageal reflux (GOR). The major difference between GOR and GORD is that GOR is a normal regurgitation process observed in infants due to the nature of their diet and posture while GORD is a regurgitation process accompanied with health complications in the respiratory system, neural system, and behavioral complications.
