Upon successful completion of my EBP project, I intend to disseminate information about it to my fellow nurses in the hope that they can replicate and even improve on it. EBP is all about constantly improving available practice method in a sustainable manner and it is imperative that what works be shared to enhance sustainability (Horntvedt et al., 2018). My project involves the crucial issue of improving the quality of life for Diabetes Miletus (DM) patients through better patient education by nurses (Powers et al., 2017). My choice for the dissemination of my EBP and research is the American Journal of Nursing (AJN) and a talk at the CSUN Nursing Annual Evidence-Based Practice Day.
The Preferred Journal
The preferred journal to disseminate my EBP and research is the American Journal of Nursing, a peer-reviewed journal published across the USA every month. The AJN only publishes peer-reviewed articles that relate to the subject of nursing. Placing the article in a peer-reviewed and respected journal, as opposed to predatory publishers, will improve its credibility among nurses (Oermann et al., 2018). For a downside, getting my article published in the AJN will be a tall order. However, DM is a serious problem in the USA not only leading to a high number of deaths but also costing the economy millions of dollars.

Proffered Venue for Dissemination
As I am carrying out my EBP project at the Martin Luther King Community Hospital in Los Angeles, California my preferred point of disseminating my EBP and research is the CSUN Nursing Annual Evidence-Based Practice Day at Nottingham LA. The fact that my hospital is near Nottingham means that I will be able to relate to and identify with the audience. The ability to relate is critical to effective communication hence will increase the chances of successfully influencing fellow nurses and allied professionals to try out my ideas and benefit from my research (Foronda, MacWilliams & McArthur, 2016).
Conclusion
I have been working hard for my project to succeed in my hospital but as a nurse, I have a duty to patients everywhere and the community at large. It is on this basis that I need to disseminate my EBP research to fellow nurses so that it can aid and benefit as many patients as possible. The above choices will enable my message not only to reach many nurses but also to be accepted by them as reliable, credible, and usable.
