Diversity is defined as the state of understanding the uniqueness and recognizing individual differences in every individual. Learning to cope with these differences allows for diversity to thrive in various environments. There are various characteristics associated with diversity, these include; age, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, gender, physical abilities, political beliefs and other ideologies present in various communities. For the purpose of this paper, we will concentrate on the four major characteristics i.e. religious beliefs, race, political beliefs and socio-economic status (Farooq, 2011) .
All over the world, due to various climatic or evolutionary characteristics, the presence of different races holding various beliefs and practices is evident. In addition, all these races share different beliefs in terms of their religious affiliations. The beliefs underlying various religious beliefs and customs is diverse across all countries. The presence of Judaism, Rastafarianism, Atheism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islamic and Buddhist cultures, as an example, is evidence of religious diversity (Farooq, 2011) .

In the world, there are 196 countries. In each of these countries, there is a governing body that acts as a representative of the whole nation. These body governs the people by implementing laws and regulations to allow for peaceful living. It also manages the finances of the country and acts as a mediator to solving problems in the country. This governing bodies each have elected officials that offer various ideas and concepts that can aid in the development of the people and a country as a whole. By sharing these ideas, they open a field of contribution from their fellow members and citizens to also share their view on these ideas. This presents Political diversity where each person has their own independent and unique view of the government and its officials (Parvis, 2013) .
The government’s management of the countries affairs leads to the development of various economic classes and social classes as well. For many of the citizens, being able to afford and earn a specific income differentiates them from others. Different citizens are able to afford a different income and thus afford to live a certain lifestyle. This ability leads to the development of social groups and economic classes that differ. It is the government’s responsibility in this response, to ensure aid is provided for the people who are in a Social class where they are unable to sustain themselves. For instance, there are the people who can afford to live lavish lifestyles, these are the rich. For those who are able to afford the basic necessities and can be said to be living comfortably, they are present in the middle class. However, for the people who are barely making enough money to afford the basic necessities, they belong to the Poor Social Class and hence require government assistance (Parvis, 2013) .
The presence of diversification also gives rise to the development of Minority Groups. The term minority refers to individuals or other species that exists in a place or country and occupy less than half of the whole population. Minorities can be characterized due to race, religion and culture or other diversity characteristics. All over the world, there is an abundance of minority groups in each social group. For Instance, in Islamic countries, Christians are considered as a minority as they are so small in number, in White dominated countries, the presence of black, Asian, Hispanics, Indians or other races are considered minority groups (Gest, 2016) .
The effect of having various cultures and races mix brings bout cultural and racial diversity. Cultural Diversity, according to Leo Parvis, refers to the presence of various cultures each possessing their own unique and specific practices, values and morals when moving from one place to another (Parvis, 2013) . Due to the development of infrastructure that has allowed global travel and migration, cultural diversity is evident in all corners of the earth. Due to the same migration, there is also racial diversity, where various races exist and live together in harmony. Many of the races continue embracing their own values and beliefs without disrespecting the values of others. It is from this that racial diversity thrives (Farooq, 2011) . With the continued living of different cultures in a c=given country, Multiculturalism is evident. This is where many cultures are present in a given country or region and the native society is in support of their existence in that particular society. The development of technology that allows fast communication has grown the interest of various people to travel to various destinations in order to experience the different cultures present all over the world. Various governments and institutions have invested into the development of the transport industry to facilitate migration of people from one region to the next. As a result, people are able to experience and interact with people holding other cultures first hand. As a consequence however, there are cultures that are diluted and become extinct due to cultural mix (“The Impact of Globalisation On Singapore’s Multicultural Society,” 2012) . Multiculturalism has positively promoted globalization through the creation of a network all over the world where various individuals take up opportunities to meet and interact with other cultures in different countries or regions.
