An analysis of the reviewed articles, focusing on the topic at hand, indicates that several key statistical tests have been applied in a bid to engaging in effective data analysis. The first test to note is the analysis of variance (ANOVA), which has been used repeatedly. Taking into account that topic seeks to engage in a comparison of two types of meals, the use of this statistical test is seen as being essential towards ensuring that the outcomes help in providing a clear comparison of the two. The second statistical test that has been used in some of the articles is linear correlation and regression. Specifically, the use of this test is seen as being viable when seeking to compare two sets of data while using many different samples. That is the exact expectation of the topic; thus, reflecting on the value that the test played in achieving best possible outcome.

Based on the outcomes of the studies conducted within the different articles, it can be justified that indeed the statistical tests have been used in a manner that can be deemed as being appropriate for the type of data. The researchers make use of quantitative data in seeking to compare the two types of meals with regard to their impacts on obese adults. Consequently, this leads to the general conclusion that indeed the use of the tests is much more viable in ensuring that the studies achieve their intended objectives.

Regarding whether the authors have appropriately indicated the implications of the data analysis, what is clear from the different articles is that the authors seek to reflect on the value placed on the data analysis. They do not overstretch in their bid towards ensuring that they create best possible outcomes in ensuring that they deliver a much more viable outcome in their bid to comparing the data sets. Instead, they highlight the implications of the data analysis through their reflection of the different outcomes they have achieved based on the gathered information.
