The contribution of nurses to the outcomes of the final results of the patients has significantly been undermined. In effect, the role of nurses in a healthcare setting has to be recognized and appreciated in the 21st century in an attempt to minimize the healthcare disparities witnessed in various populations (American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2013). Taking the role of nurses takes different strategies such as empowering workers and capacity building strategies to perform crucial duties and academic advancements. As a result, master’s prepared nurses take a promotion in education in an attempt to become educators, collaborators, and specialized nursing practitioners. The fundamental professional competence associated with master’s qualified nurses is leadership skills because they play a role in high levels of decision making in the healthcare setting. 

In the current situation, most treatment decisions are made by doctors who are significantly few compared to demand in the healthcare setting. As a result, nurses are compelled to advance their leadership skills. Master’s degree remains the avenue through which people receive leadership skills to play an active role in the decision-making process. Master’s nurses play an essential role in the collaboration for improving the patient and population outcomes for the patients in the treatment process. As a result, the master’s prepared nurse is recognized as a member and leader in the interprofessional organization as they collaborate, communicate, and coordinate care program in the healthcare setting (American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2013). Masters prepared nurses are in a position to intervene in the decision-making process as they increase the ability for people to become recognized and witnessed in policy formulation. As a result, they participate in advocacy and have a significant influence the healthcare decision strategies.

Masters prepared nurses also play an essential role in integrating the broad organizational and client-centered treatment approach, thus making the treatment process effective. Effective treatment administering requires medical practitioners to access the healthcare receiver’s background and integrate such findings in the treatment process. Masters prepared nurses have developed such skills, and they offer evidence-based clinical services, thus increasing their participation in delivering treatment approach to individuals, families, and identified populations in the community. Masters prepared nurses to advance their science skills that are applied in offering extensive treatment to the patients (Van der Cingel et al., 2016). The process is increasing in providing treatment process that influences the outcome of the patient treatment. As a result, master’s nurses have advanced skills that create an opportunity for helping such people in providing both direct and indirect services to patients. Such nurses are in a position to articulate the tools, performance, and the standards needed in maintaining quality and safety to patients and workmates as they perform duties in the healthcare organization. Quality principles enhance a good working relationship, thus improving the offering of services in the treatment process. Master’s prepared nurses integrate project outcomes to identify successful treatment approaches for patients. In effect, master’s qualified nurse’s work as change agents in the healthcare center because their ideas bring new strategies needed in improving the treatment approach. 

Part 2 

The figure below shows the essential components needed in implementing the person-centered care program. The first approach relates to changing the structure of the healthcare system to ensure that there is an implementation of person-centered care culture within the healthcare organization. Co-designing the development and implement the healthcare and prevention promotion indicates that there is a need for incorporating ideas from different parties such as nurses in the healthcare organization (Santana et al., 2018). The process category recognizes the importance of communication and creating an opportunity for combining concepts such as those of the master’s degree nurses. In effect, person-centered care creates an opportunity for people to increase engagement in patients and integration in the care process.
