As a human service professional, I am entitled to follow the ethical standards in my profession. In the first subject on my responsibility to clients, I have mastered all the other standards except for one. I have mastered the codes because I believe that clients are the most important task in my profession. In standard five, I feel that it will be quite difficult to separate professional relationships from personal relationships. I know that this is a vital standard, especially for therapist and their clients. I think that I would not be efficient in therapy and client relationships. However, I will try my best to control myself from getting too attached to my patients. I believe getting very close to clients must be the reason for breaking the boundary between personal and professional relationships.

In the subject of responsibility to the public and safety, I have mastered the standards except one. Most of the responsibilities entail ensuring I do not discriminate, understanding the people's problems and the federal laws. The reason I understood the standards in this subject is that they explore the entire society. Working to ensure a healthy community is one of my goals. However, in standard fourteen, I think I will have a problem identifying social and political problems that affect clients. I am an individual who lacks interest in following up on social and political happenings. I will ensure that I am up to date with the political and social happenings for my clients. This way, I will master all ethical standards on my responsibility to society.
