Question 1

The criminal justice system is obliged to be sensitive to ethical issues. It is based on the fact that moral principles are based on ethics. The righteousness of behavior is based on ethics. The criminal justice system has to appreciate the diversity of righteousness as defined by ethics. For instance, ethical relativism explains the patterns of culture; different communities have different ethical standards ( Roberson & Mire, 2009) . Therefore, that explains the dynamics upon which morality is judged. For example, ethical standard in Christianity differ from those is Islam. Criminal justice professionals must make decisions that are ethically appealing to the communities in question.

Question 2

Criminal justice professionals often face ethical dilemmas in making decisions. One of the most common situations is whether to make decisions using incomplete or faulty evidence. While they seek to offer fair justice, they may not have enough information to back up their decisions. The second ethical dilemma is whether to make decisions that favor their personal feelings towards defendants or abide to pressure from the public ( Pollock, 2014) . While a professional may be having a strong feeling towards a defendant, they find it difficult to make decisions owing to those that have already been placed by the public. Thirdly, police officers always find themselves in ethical dilemmas. For instance, it is a challenge to decide on the right course of action needed to restrain a suspect.

Question 3

Morality is the determination of right or wrong in behavior analysis. As morality is characterized by dynamics over time, the criminal justice system uses it to judge reason for actions while making decisions. Morals determine the acceptable behavior as per the standards of a society. Ethics refer to the moral principles upon which the behavior of an individual is based. Ethics ensures that both the victim and accused get justice ( Braswell et al., 2017) . Since ethics is relative based on a particular society, the criminal justice system uses ethics to make decisions based on the demands of a society. Values refer to behavioral standards. Criminal justice professionals use societal values to set standards upon which they meet ethical considerations.
