One financial aspect that needs to be considered is whether an increase in recruitment and training budget will address nurse shortages and reduce burnouts. With an ever-increasing population and retirement of aging nurses, the number of practicing nurses has declined. The available nurses are overwhelmed by the large number of patients being administered in the hospital every day, resulting in burnout. When implementing the nursing shortage evidence-based program, it is important to consider if an increase in recruitment budget in healthcare will address the issue of shortage. The government should sponsor more students to study nursing to increase the number of nurses, which will address the shortage. Having a large number of new registered nurses will help reduce nurse shortage cases since proper replacements will be available for the aging workforce, thereby reducing burnout.

Another factor to consider is quality; it is important for the evidence-based program to improve patient health outcomes.
