Science is one of the most import fields to human development. Through scientific research, human beings have been able to make important discoveries and innovations that help in understanding the planet and all that is in it. Through scientific discoveries, human beings were also able to learn what lies beyond the earth’s atmosphere and how to study the Earth’s galaxy. For many people, being a scientist merely involves the collection and recording of facts. They believe that a scientist’s role involves only observation of various elements in the universe and record whatever has been observed. An in-depth analysis of science, however, indicates that it does include not only observation and recording but also the use of imaginations to explain different occurrences in the planet (Bronowski, 2000). Some of the scientists that have contributed to the field of science include Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin. From their creative abilities, they were able to come up with various theories which were later proved to be true. One of the significant discussions that have dominated many forums is about how scientists come up with their discoveries (Wilson, 2002). This paper seeks to establish whether or not believers in intelligent design will accept Darwin’s theory and how the science discussed by Bawazer corresponds to Bronowski’s belief about science.

The believers in intelligent design will not be able to reject Darwin’s theory and at the same time embrace the innovative solutions provided by Luke Bawazer since science involves that application of both observation and imagination. It is through imagination that most scientists were attracted to study different theories in various fields. For example, Copernicus used imagination to study and understand the orbits of planets (Bronowski, 2000). Even though Bawazer's theory is founded on modern technology, it is still based on imagination and the need to provide better solutions to environmentally harmful materials that are currently used. From the analysis of both Darwin’s theory and the Tedtalk given by Bawazer, it is evident that both scientists were first inspired by the imaginations they had concerning their fields before putting in the effort needed to come up with theories. There is no reason for the supporters of intelligent design to ignore Darwin’s theory just because it has not been fully proven because there are many scientific discoveries and theories that were discovered before being proved many years after. For example, Copernicus’ theories about the orbit of planets took years before it was proved to be true (Bronowski, 2000). From the analysis of both theories, it is hypocritical for the believers in intelligent designs not to embrace Darwin’s theory as both have been developed through the same process of imagination first and later on implementation.

The science that was presented by Bawazer relates to Bronowski’s belief about science in many different ways. Foremost, Bronowski’s beliefs that scientists not only observe and record what is going on in their surroundings but also use their creative abilities to be able to come up with explanations to different phenomena and solutions to various challenges faced by human beings. By implementing his imagination, Bawazer believes that the key to creating superior and safe materials lies in our DNA. He argues that by developing materials using different DNA samples, the best quality materials can be identified and the DNA that was used to develop the material used for further production of such high-quality materials. Darwin, on the other hand, believed that all species develop through the selection of variations passed down through generations to improve an individual’s potential to survive (TEDx Talks, 2013). According to Bronowski, no scientific theory is a collection of facts (1956). Both Darwin’s and Bawazer’s theories are also a collection of both facts and imaginations that have not yet been proved. The theories must not necessarily be proven immediately, but as long as they have been brought to the fore, other scientists and scholars will increase their efforts to make sure that they have been proved. A study of the science presented by Bawazer will confirm that it corresponds to Bronowski’s belief (TEDx Talks, 2013).

In summation, the study of Darwin’s theory and the science presented by Bawazer will prove that Bronowski's belief about imagination and creativity in science is true. The fact that science involves both imagination and observation means that the believers in intelligent design will not be able to reject Darwin's theory and at the same time embrace the innovative solutions provided by Luke Bawazer. There is no reason for the supporters of intelligent design to ignore Darwin’s theory just because both theories have not been sufficiently proved yet. There is a strong relationship between the science that was presented by Bawazer and Bronowski’s belief about science. Bawazer used his imagination to come up with the presentation where he outlined the various sources of safe materials that human beings can use. It is clear that scientists are people dedicated to finding solutions to the challenges faced by the world and also explaining different phenomena. They mostly use imaginations to come up with the explanations of things that would otherwise be impossible to describe.
