In future, the federal government agencies are likely to collaborate with other private securities, to ensure that homeland is secured from crime and terrorism. Federal government agencies such as FBI, ICE, and DHS have ensured that they have undertaken effort from the government to curb crime, threat, and terrorism. Besides fighting terrorism, the private security together with federal government agencies has also guaranteed security and safety to the community ( Kappeler & Potter, 2017) . In this case, the federal government agencies have ended up recruiting and developing talents to ensure that skills have been retained in their workforce.
The agencies play a significant role in the private security since they ensure safety among individuals. I have chosen the federal agencies since they are known to offer security and prevent terror attacks in the homeland. In the collaborative group, the FBI is expected to protect and defend citizens from any harm besides implementing criminal regulations. In contrast, the ICE and DHS will ensure that they offer homeland security to the American citizens. The two agencies will also ensure that they govern borders to promote homeland safety.

The legal authority of private security is bound to change in the future because the private citizens work hand-in-hand with the government agencies to adopt and enhance reforms in the criminal systems. Besides, globalization will also lead to change in the future since the security systems will be upgraded ( Newsome & Jarmon, 2015) . It is a good idea to change to advance and change the legal authority of private security working with government agencies. The reason being that new strategies and measures will be introduced in the criminal justice system that ensures the citizen and national security.
