Financial challenges are among the significant barriers that hinder access to quality healthcare services. Usually, a lack of financial resources hinders one from obtaining quality services, including diagnosis and medication. This paper discusses the impact of payment of service and Texas nursing regulations on how to ensure patient care.

Payment

The ability to pay for healthcare services are among the factors that determine the quality of services and the place that a person can receive healthcare services. The income that individuals earn determines the kind of hospital they can visit in terms of services and availability of medication. The majority of low-income earners lack enough income to finance their needs and get quality services (Benzeval et al., 2014). In this case, payment tends to determine the facilities from which individuals obtain their services. High-class people can pay for quality services, which may be too expensive for the income owners. In this case, those in the lower classes tend to visit normal hospitals where they provide regular hospitals, not the luxurious services that the rich can afford.

Healthcare resources are in the form of insurance. If an individual is uninsured in the United States, they are allowed to pay cash to hospitals that receive such amount and receive payments. However, if they are uninsured because they cannot afford it, they are forced to find cheap, inexpensive services that they can provide. Otherwise, they are forced to stay without treatment. Usually, uninsured people are likely to have poor health status as compared to the insured, less likely to receive medical care, more likely to receive a late diagnosis, and likely to die from premature death.

The United States healthcare requires that health services be provided to all people without discrimination. In this case, Christian practitioners should not try to treat their fellow Christian patients with favorism as compared to others. Instead, they should pay for the services just like any other person. Additionally, they should also receive quality services as long as they make the necessary payments.

Texas

Healthcare regulations in Texas are implemented by the Texas Board of Nursing or the Texas Medical Board. The following standards apply to all nurses in Texas, including registered and vocational nurses. First, they must understand and follow all the outlined Teas Nursing Practice Act and the Board's rules and regulations. They should also follow federal and state laws (Julie Mroczek et al., 2019). Additionally, all practitioners are required to implement measures to facilitate a safe surrounding for clients and others. They should understand the rationale for the effects of medication and treatment and shall appropriately administer the same. All reports and documents should be accurately completed. This entails indicating the status of the patient, rendering nursing services, following the orders of dentists and physicians, as well as administering medication and treatment to patients.

Another rule is to uphold respect and protection for clients by protecting their personal info unless when requested by the law to provide (A Train Education). Every nurse should be willing to promote and participate in counseling and educating their clients and families based on their needs. The law requires all practitioners to obtain orientation and training for competency when facing new technology, equipment, or unusual care.

Benefits and Challenges

Among the benefits of following the stipulated rules is to ensure that practitioners use the right ways to treat their patients. These regulations promote patients' protection through the provision of quality healthcare services (Klemsová & Žiaková, 2014). Another benefit is that it supports the patient's knowledge and awareness of healthcare. Nurses empower their patients through training and educational sessions, such as on the appropriate drug administration strategy or how to provide self-care.

One of the most significant challenges of following the regulations is depriving patients of their rightful privacy. The rule allows practitioners to use the client's personal information when requested by the court, even without the knowledge of the patients.

Conclusion

Lack of adequate finances hinders access to quality service provision. Most uninsured individuals in the United States undergo a lack of proper health services and the risk of early deaths. In Texas, nursing rules and regulations are put in place to facilitate proper service provision among nurses. Generally, these rules ensure that patients receive quality services hence enhancing their wellbeing.
