There are four dimensions of renewal in life. They include physical, spiritual, mental, and social. People ought to apply all these dimensions in their activities to have fulfilling lives. Applying the vital dimensions is the most significant investment one can make in life. However, no one can do it on behalf of someone else.
The physical dimension involves exercising, healthy nutrition, and managing stress. I can apply the physical dimension in my life in different ways. I can set adequate goals that motivate me to exercise. Exercising increases strength and energy (Covey, 2018). As people age, they find it challenging to undertake their duties because they tire easily. This situation can be improved through doing consistent exercises. Moreover, I can eat a balanced meal to avoid gaining unnecessary weight. Eating large portions of food can cause obesity in one’s life. I can also manage stress by swimming and participating in running exercises with friends.

Moreover, the mental dimension involves planning, visualizing, and writing. People's mind needs to be stretched and expanded. Similarly, minds require exercises, just like muscles. Developing brain through new experiences prevents it from experiencing retarded growth (Covey & Covey, 2020). I can apply this dimension by reading an excellent book, following tutorials on YouTube, and developing a significant hobby. These nourishments are critical in mental growth and stimulation.
Also, visualizing one’s future is essential for mental nourishment. I can plan to visualize events and goals. Writing the goals in a notebook motivates a person to work hard to accomplish them. I can write my intentions and goals and work towards achieving them.
More so, the spiritual dimension can be renewed by clarifying morals and values while committing to them. Meditation and studying are essential in spiritual growth and renewal. People should have sufficiently strong values that motivate them in their actions. Spending time in nature or church renews the spiritual dimension (Lovelace, 2020). I can nourish my spirit by reading scripture and poetry.
Finally, the social and emotional renewal dimension involves offering services, empathizing, and intrinsic security. This dimension requires listening with empathy (Covey, 2018). It needs people to collectively solve arising problems with a mutual agreement (Covey, 2018). I can comfortably apply this dimension in life by solving issues without further complications. This renewal dimension requires individuals to analyze and check themselves deeply. Relationships with others directly affect how people feel about themselves. Individuals think and perceive their lives, depending on their degree of trust in their internal values (Covey & Covey, 2020). I can apply social and emotional dimensions by having a complete understanding of myself.
In conclusion, people should balance all the four dimensions of renewal. Neglecting, even one of the dimensions, implies that the rest are negatively affected. All of them should be handled in a brilliant and balanced way for the renewal to be adequately effective. Listing all activities that keep a person physically fit significantly improves their lifestyle. Moreover, reading books and scripture renews the mind and spirit.
