The goal of an organizational ethics program is to assist agents, employees, managers, and owners work together to chase the purpose of the business and accomplish its goals and objectives. The ethics program offers clear guidelines on the acceptable and ethical behavioral of the business philosophy to customers, investors, vendors, and employees. It allows these individuals to consult answers to their questions on the ethics website or handbook. For instance, if an employee has questions regarding a certain action to determine whether it is ethical, they can get answers from the provided platforms. A good ethics program can help to improve the reputation of the company and relationships with customers and employees (Johnson, 2018). Therefore, instituting a program that helps to eradicate any kind of confusion will assist in providing everyone with the same information about the ethical business behavior. 

The essential elements of an organizational ethics program include customer focus, results-oriented, and risk-taking. Customers keep the company running and thus focusing on customers enhances the responsibility of the business to the market. Serving customers and other people is a critical part of an individual’s ethical responsibility. Results-oriented is essential element of an organizational ethics program. An entrepreneur should focus on achieving results with the values of the company. Results can be achieved based on the context of developing something customers need. Risk-taking element is crucial for an organization because it allows a business to thrive, prosper, and grow. Great companies are ready to try new things and innovate, and thus are able to re-invent and take risks (Ferrell, 2016).

These elements can be implemented in my current or future organization in significant ways. For instance, results-oriented element can be implemented by leaders identifying the desired results, providing their employees with support, and assist them to achieve those results. They offer feedback on performance and this would help employees to achieve desired results. Risk-taking can be implemented by attracting employees who are willing to take risks and later encourage, support, and reward these employees for their ability to take calculated risks. Training employees on how to be customer-oriented can be useful in implementing customer focus element. Training will help to reinforce the customer care skills and their responsibility, which will result in the long-term health of your company (Pearson, 2017).
