This article will discuss the different ways that is used by different societies in determining the guilt and innocence of a person. The paper will explain various actions that cause people to be guilt in different communities. The differences that exist among different societies while providing a verdict will be highlighted. Charlemagne had no choice but to live with the guilt due to the tactical mistake that he made during the war.
