Caring
In my opinion, caring comprise an ethical requirement of nurses to promote the enhancement, protection, and preservation of patients' dignity. Professional nursing entails cognitive-driven patterns or processes and techniques that improve the health condition of individuals, communities, and families ( Suresh, 2017 ). Caring requires the effective commitment of nurses to ensure sufficient care delivery to patients. Nurses' resilient sense of ethical responsibility promotes high-quality care delivery to clients. Competence, compassion, and confidence of nurses support effective care delivery. Nursing as a science of caring entails the formation of a humanistic-altruistic value system, faith-hope instillation in patients, sensitivity cultivation in one's self, and systematic application of scientific problem-solving strategies in decision-making. Consideration and comprehension of patients' environmental dimensions influenced by psychological, biophysical, cultural, economic, political, spiritual, and social aspects promote holistic care services to patients.

Professional Identity
Professional identity encompasses career and personal advancement. My professional status entails the internalization of fundamental perspectives and values that are integral to the science and art of nursing. Accordingly, I have internalized ethical codes of behavior through learning, experiences, gain, reflection, and professional development. The adoption of fundamental values in nursing practice aspects enhance the outcomes of patients and promote nursing profession effectiveness ( Slusser et al., 2018 ). As a professional nurse, I advocate for the improvement of health care accessibility and sufficient delivery of care services to the vulnerable populace. Based on my exceptional experience in nursing practice, I believe that patient-centered and evidence-based practice offer optimal health care services to community, individuals, and families. Subsequently, my motivation encompasses the desire to promote the evidence-based nursing practice, caring service, and promotion of safe care quality to patients or clients and their family members.
Professional Organizations/Associations
The rapid changes in the nursing field require nurses to join professional nursing organizations or associations. Professional development requires nurses to maintain and advance their competence, improve career-nursing practice, and promote the accomplishment of career goals. Moreover, nursing organizations devote their effort to ensure personal and professional advancement of members (Gaines, 2019). Nursing associations or organizations empower nurses to provide innovative and enhanced care services to patients. Accordingly, I intend to acquire membership in the American Nursing Association (ANA) established in 1896. The ANA is the renowned, oldest, and largest nursing organization in the US, with over 10000 members (Gaines, 2019). Through various member organizations and affiliates, the ANA supports the rights of professional nurses in their workplace, regulate agencies, and lobbies Congress on healthcare concerns in the country. The ANA promotes various subsidiary organizations associated with nursing, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Consequently, acquiring membership in the ANA would empower me to provide innovative and enhanced care services to patients and their family members. Additionally, I would join the National League for Nursing (NLN), established in 1893 in the US. The NLN provides professional advancement, testing services, networking opportunities for nurses, public policy initiatives, and research grants for members or professional nurses (Gaines, 2019). Significantly, the NLN represents nursing education in healthcare institutions in the tertiary level of learning and organizations. The NLN promotes integrity, caring, excellence, and diversity as the core values. Subsequently, seeking membership in the NLN would improve my excellence and integrity in my nursing profession.
The paper illustrates the significance of caring in the nursing career, professional identity, and the importance of the American Nursing Association (ANA) and the National League for Nursing (NLN) membership in nursing. Caring promote the enhancement, protection, and preservation of patients' dignity. Moreover, professional identity involves career and personal advancement. The ANA supports the rights of nurses in their workplace and lobbies Congress on health care concerns. The NLN promotes integrity, caring, excellence, and diversity in nursing.
