The article is suitable for my report because of its analysis of the trends in health information technology that have helped in filling the gaps in quality healthcare. The article is appropriate to health information technology because of its analysis of the impact of technology on healthcare. Its main premise is based on the significance of health information technology in improving patient safety and general healthcare quality. It comprises of aspects that address the implementation of health information technology, to positively impact on healthcare. Its relevance to health information is based on its objective to create systems that can improve the outcomes of any new information technology.

The significance of health information technology is apparent in its positive results in provision of quality healthcare. This is because of its main components that have been modified to improve healthcare by facilitating information transfer, storing and retrieval (Bowles, Dykes & Demiris, 2015). Considering that information forms the most prominent part of effective and quality healthcare, health information is very relevant in ensuring that information is exchanged from various healthcare departments with minimal flaws.

The information contained in the topic is very vital in relation to healthcare technology advancement. This is because of the insights provided in the article that help in identifying possible flaws and solutions in healthcare information technology. Identification of possible flaws help to improve technology related to health, as it addresses the areas that need adjustment to increase efficiency and reliability. Consequently, it is an indication that the topic is critical in ensuring that healthcare technology aspects are advanced, in order to improve the quality of healthcare.

The impact of healthcare technological advances will improve healthcare. Healthcare information technology work to improve health care quality and patient safety. In its three phases of operation that comprise of prevention, identification and quality, health information technology will have a positive impact on healthcare (Hemmat et al., 2017). In consideration of how health information technology has impacted healthcare in its current state, many benefits will accrue from it, especially if there are technological advances.

Summarily, the article in this report is significant in relation to health information technology. In the literature review, the authors explore the possible flaws that may arise if health technology is not implemented in the right way, while at the same time providing possible measures that would help improve the efficiency of the technology; an indication that technological advances will help me in providing quality healthcare, since quality healthcare is the main concern addressed by health information technology.
