Health care organization face several challenges in offering quality health care services. One of the problems facing several organizations is inadequate healthcare facilities. Health care facilities are important resources in quality of healthcare. Accreditation bodies are categorical about the facilities required in order for an organization to offer services such as medical emergency services and other treatment services. Such facilities include ambulances, safety equipment and other treatment facilities. If an organization meet the number of facilities required, then it can be licensed. If some organization do not meet these requirements, then such organizations risk their operation license being withdrawn.

According to the World Health Organization, at least 1278 health organization in Europe have not met the right medical facilitation standards and risk being unlicensed ( Ross, 2014). Lack of facilities can jeopardize the safety of patients significantly. It affects the quality performance of health caregivers. The challenge can be addressed through a heavy involvement of stakeholders such as World Bank in funding, improved budgeting and improved financial operation ( Plsek & Greenhalgh, 2001). Implementation of these strategies will include a detailed research-based to single out the root cause of the problem and include the use of the report in coming up with implementation phases and strategies.

I have witnessed the current situation health care organization are in with the inadequate facilities. Having visited one organization for a check-up, I quickly noticed how health care organization operate without key facilities such as a computerized record-keeping system, ward facilities such as bed, poor emergency facilities and advanced care facilities such as scanning facilities. I believe, this problem will affect me in the future as a health caregiver as it lowers the quality of care and can easily bring conflict between patients who are not satisfied with the services they are offered and the health care organizations.

Employment of system thinking can help address this problem. System thinking employs a 3-dimensional perspective of looking at the problem. It also employs creativity in dissecting the problem and come up with an understanding in a bid to improve on the patients understanding. The interconnectivity element of system thinking means an individual in an organization are interconnected and working for the success of quality care. It, therefore, means my performance is part of the interconnectivity and contributes significantly to the input laid in improving the customers’ satisfaction.
