It is necessary to implement several recommendations to ensure increased patient satisfaction as well as better patient outcomes in aspects related to critical care. Various aspects of patient care will have to be improved to provide better results for patients in the healthcare setting (Graban, 2016). It also requires an institutional oriented effort in which people at all the levels participate to ensure better outcomes for the patients in all aspects of healthcare service delivery. There is a need to improve the quality of patient care at all angles since there has been an increased outcry concerning the quality of patient care within the healthcare institution.

Firstly, it is necessary to recognize that there are adverse healthcare outcomes because there is ineffective communication. Healthcare organizations need to focus on enhancing effective communication that will improve the safety of patients and also ensure consistent and more effective outcomes related to patient care (Graban, 2016). It is necessary to enhance the communication skills of the nurses, as this will lead to more organized and timely service delivery and at the same time lead to better outcomes for patients. This will, therefore, require the proper identification as well as assessment and implementation of appropriate communication tools in the healthcare setting.

Secondly, it is also necessary to reduce patient wait times, as this is a critical aspect of effective patient service delivery. It will rely on the gathering of patient information before the scheduled appointments, as this will lead to service dispensation (Stanowski, Simpson, & White, 2015) . The hospital will also need to delegate the documentation of other trained staff, and this will help adopt a new workflow and at the same time prevent healthcare workers from being bogged down into more administrative tasks and at the same time ensure effective delivery of services to patients. Another essential aspect of this involves the design of a survey, which can help in the identification of bottlenecks.

Another excellent recommendation includes the improvement of care coordination within the healthcare setting. The delivery of high quality care to patients will require the configuration up of adequate medical care teams, which will include primary care physicians, specialists as well as nurses, technicians and other clinicians (Stanowski, Simpson & White, 2015). Members of these teams will require specific interactions with patients depending on their expertise level, and this will help to provide better views concerning the patients, therefore, leading to the better dispensation of healthcare to these patients. Through the proper functioning of these teams, patients will experience better healthcare.

It will also be necessary for healthcare institutions to implement the use of technical tools such as E.H.R, which will improve the care given to patients. The use of Electronic Health Records will have an essential troll in improving care coordination in the healthcare setting (Berkowitz, 2016). This will ensure integration and organization of patient health information and facilitate the internal distribution of this information to enhance the patient care outcomes. It will ensure that medical facilities have accurate and up to date information concerning the patient. Better availability of patient data will help reduce the occurrence of medical errors and unnecessary tests.

The implementation of these various steps will help improve the dispensation of healthcare within the healthcare institution and therefore improve patient care outcomes. Through this, the organization will experience an increase in patient satisfaction (Berkowitz, 2016). Implementation of these different recommendations will require a coordinated effort from all members of the healthcare organization, and this will ensure better functioning of the healthcare organizations at all levels of patient care.
