Personally, my depleting drive to prepare meals is mainly because sometimes, I get too caught up on other activities at the expense of the former. Because of this, I might end up finding myself skipping a meal, or even preparing something straightforward, if not rushing out to get a quick treat. The "other activities" mentioned might include reading a book, watching a movie, and taking a nap, now that we are all at home, confined to our personal lives. That aid, spending time focusing on what healthy meal to prepare is usually a last resort.
I spend around 8 hours cooking for myself per week, which might seem quite fair, considering how slow the days go by these days. On self-care, I spend more time, suppose, 35 hours weekly. This vast difference is due to the tendency of laziness to cook but finding time to take care of other needs to pass the time. These self-care activities are more relaxing than deeply-engaging; they include shopping, yoga, and even working out.
