One of my most significant achievements from the assignment is a better understanding of the Airbnb business structure, hence, the best approach to its marketing. One of the realizations I made during the research process is that while strategic marketing can positively reinforce the success of an Airbnb business, there is a need to have a dynamic understanding of other market forces to understand market trends better( Palos-Sanchez et al., 2018). Regardless, I think ensuring the scope of the assignment is not too large is one of the challenges I will face. A market strategy requires an in-depth understanding of different economic, political, and geographical elements. However, streamlining my research to ensure the most relevant facts that will positively reinforce my undertakings in coming up with a marketing strategy will be an issue. While I am aware that peer-reviewed sources are the best to be incorporated in the assignment, I think other non-verified sources have critical information.
To overcome this obstacle, I will first research the most significant elements in a marketing strategy. I would then do a mock search to understand better where I can get sources with the most useful information. In addition, I will also seek help from the writing center from time to time to ensure I meet the assignment’s objectives. I will also start my research early enough to ensure I have enough time to skim through different sources and choose those with the most diverse yet rich information. To accomplish the above, my next step will be writing an outline of my research undertakings and ensuring deadlines against each task. This way, I will avoid procrastination and last-minute research.
