Unlike in the US that practices a decentralized federal system, the Chinese government implements a centralized system. The central government holds a strong position in both administrative and financial powers. The Chinese government is formed from communism, while most countries particularly from the West, are governed by capitalist ideas. Economic statecraft is the utilization of tools to pursue national objectives abroad. China embraces aggressive and comprehensive economic statecraft as part of its strategy to change its foreign policies. Chinese statecraft is a crucial aspect of its foreign policies and helps develop its relations with Asian countries. Chinese ancient system is among the four ancient civilizations in the world. Chinese ancient philosophies like Daoism and Confucianism are significant in understanding how the government expanded its population and territory. Additionally, the family was very significant in the ancient Chinese system. It is recognized as the basic production unit for survival. The family units are contained in the Confucian teachings. One of the famous sayings is that "There is no home if there is no nationhood. The ancient Chinese system believed that the stability of the nation could be sustained if its family units are bonded.
