As expressed in Paradise Lost, Eve featured many times as compared with instances that Adam featured. In this essay, I will focus on understanding Adam and the role he played in the Garden of Eden. Adam was seen as the father of humankind, as biblically, it is believed that they are the original parents of the entire generation. Adam was calm and focused on observing the rules presented to them when they were placed in the Garden of Eden ( Milton, 2007 ). It was difficult for outsiders to convince regarding the happenings in garden apart from the wife Eve that could convince him. It is the main reason that Satan approached him through Eve that he could be easily influenced to eat the forbidden fruit in the garden.

Adam was rational, as he could understand and express the rules offered to them in the garden. He became one of the sinners when he ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. It is not because he was rational but because he respected her wife as his helper and partner. God created Eve from the rib of Adam such that she could be a partner and helper in the Garden of Eden. Adam was not weak regarding the activities he undertook in the garden as a person in charge of the garden. The only weakness that Adam had was respecting Eve as his partner and help as instructed by God ( Milton, 2007 ). He accepted to eat the forbidden fruit of love and respect to his wife. Adam was as guilty as Eve since he had eaten the forbidden fruit. The two had sinned as they realized that they were naked after eating the fruit. The character that played Adam in the film was determined, honest, and calm. When he was communicating and making decisions, the character stand on the truth. It is only that the beauty of Eve, love, and respect influenced him to eat the forbidden fruit leading a sinful activity.
