Part 1
Poverty is the deficiency of enough resources to meet an individual’s basic needs. In my daily routine, I see people who are languishing in poverty but still trying to make it to the next day. Poverty affects our society as a whole, whether wealthy or poor. A people experiencing economic challenges may sometimes resort to desperate measure, at times illegal and dangerous, to meet their basic needs. For instance, if an individual decides to steal, this act affects everyone in the society by bringing insecurity. One of the best strategies to eradicate poverty is educating and empowering the youth and women. Moreover, there is also the need for ethical considerations by companies offering jobs to the poor. In the case of Nike and Adidas, the companies should pay their workers better to empower them economically (Hendriksz, 2018).
Part 2
A family is the basic unit of the society. As such, a supportive family is a significant aspect of every individual while growing up. Supportive families help us through all our struggles, help us learn the way of life from our elders, and gives us a shoulder to lean on during tough times. It is true that a majority of very successful people make it because of the strong support and encouragement they get from their families. Similarly, the same family that should be a source of comfort can indeed be the greatest hindrances to one’s success. As noted by Logethesis, while good people empower you, there are those (including family), who will instead drain you of your energy(Logethesis, 2017).

Part 3
Religion is one of the supreme prominent aspects of society. A people’s religious beliefs significantly influence their way of life by their daily practices. I have no affiliation with any religion. It is normal for people from different faiths to find fault in the other person’s religious beliefs. For instance, one might associate the lack of religious affiliation with a decline in moral values. Interestingly, however, people might be less inclined towards religion, and still be deeply enshrined in moral values (The Spectator, 2017). Misunderstanding of each other religious beliefs causes harmful divisions in a society, some of which lead to hatred. It is best that everybody respects and acknowledges that it is okay to be of different religions and have diverse beliefs. It is this diversity that makes society more exciting and intriguing.
