For sure, technology has changed the marketing landscape in numerous significant ways. It has helped businesses reach the world. Thus, it very significant to understand how technology has changed the marketing landscape. This paper will delve at identifying and describing the ways technology has changed the marketing landscape. 

To begin with, businesses create their websites to reach a wider audience as well as target specific customers in order to expand their businesses. Customers visit these sites to purchase products. The second area in which technology has altered the marketing landscape is the creating of social media platforms and mobile apps. Marketers use Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other social media platforms to advertise their products by relaying key details of the products as quickly as possible to reach a wider audience. This facilitates online marketing.

Another area is the creation of databases which can be used to store a significant amount of data for use by government, institutions, and healthcare systems. For instance, in the healthcare system, volumes of patients’ data can be stored in databases which can be used to access patient records in the future if needed. This improves the efficiency of the healthcare system. Another area is high-tech trading. Technology has changed the marketing landscape in that it offers investors efficient ways to research as well as purchase shares. 

The next area is the transportation industry. In the transport industry, technology is used to book bus or flight tickets and also do online checks. This has increased the efficiency of the transportation systems as it makes booking easier and saves the passenger time. Lastly, technology has changed the marketing landscape because it has made telecommuting possible. Numerous business is incorporating telecommuting in their business model to cut down the use of office equipment, utilities, and overheads related rent. This makes it easier for the organization to grow faster.
